The article examines various methods and approaches of public policy in managing social conflicts, focusing on their effectiveness in different contexts. The analysis reveals that each conflict resolution method has advantages and disadvantages and can be applied successfully depending on the situation. Methods discussed in the article include negotiations, mediation, arbitration, consensus decision-making, coercive intervention, dialogue, education, and conflict resolution programs. The conclusions emphasize the importance of flexibility, adaptability, and active public participation in conflict resolution. The findings provide valuable insights for developing strategies and programs for conflict management at both the state and public policy levels. The article highlights the need for increased investments in mediation and conflictology programs and the development of information campaigns and educational initiatives.
Additionally, fostering an environment conducive to dialogue and cooperation among various social groups is crucial for enhancing mutual understanding and reducing conflicts. The study also underscores the importance of conflict prevention and the development of comprehensive management strategies that consider the specifics of different conflicts. The success of social conflict management depends on a comprehensive approach that integrates diverse methods and encourages active public engagement. The research findings are helpful for policymakers, activists, and organizations involved in conflict management.
