The article substantiates the aspects of managing the economic security of construction enterprises in modern conditions. The development trends of the construction sphere of economic activity have been analyzed. The specifics of the operation of construction enterprises, which are related to obtaining licenses for work and various permits, are highlighted; dependence of activities on state structures and local authorities when obtaining permits for construction activities; dependence on natural factors, which determines the duration and sequence of construction works; high cost of construction works; arrhythmic activity associated with construction seasonality; the need to attract large amounts of investment during construction; the possibility of using products only at the place of their production in compliance with various regulated procedures. It is substantiated that the management of the economic security of the enterprise is a dynamic process of interconnected aspects of planning, organization, control, stimulation, which is presented as a certain system and ensures the stability of the functioning and further development of the enterprise due to the use of various tools, levers, methods, as well as creative, structural -functional and process approaches, which together can give a synergistic effect for the development of the enterprise. It has been proven that effective management of the economic security of construction enterprises makes it possible to ensure: more effective use of financial resources of construction enterprises; formation and development of intellectual capital and improvement of personnel management efficiency; application of the latest processes and technologies in construction activities; improving the quality of works and products in accordance with international norms and standards; implementation of effective information provision of construction activities and improvement of the efficiency of control of construction production; cost reduction and compliance with environmental standards during construction; increasing the effectiveness of countering threats and risks due to their timely detection and development of ways to overcome or adapt to new economic conditions; increasing interaction with counterparties and stability of competitive positions on the market.
